Decision of the Jury. October 7th 2020.
Good morning,
We would like to share with you all the great happiness that means to be awarded with such an important “Premio Malaga de Arquitectura” organised by the Board of Architects of Malaga. We have needed a few days to analyse and assume that we have been selected for the Malaga Architecture Award 2020 as the Best Company. Our projects had been selected for several awards on four of the last five editions of this Award.
First Mention was accepted with great joy. Best Young Award in 2013 became a huge satisfaction. The First Prize in 2018, an enormous pride. However, to be awarded in 2020, such a special and difficult year, in this category that has been created this year, meant a lot for us and was honestly shocking for our company. Especially because this award takes into account our whole career, not just a project. After all these years, maybe not much yet, we are very proud of our portfolio and above all of the fact that this Jury agreed on selecting us. An amazing Jury, integrated by architects as great as Fuensanta Nieto (Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos), Carlos Lamela (Estudio Lamela) or Borja Ferrater (OAB).
Thus, we can say nothing but THANKS to everyone of our colleagues, both competitors and jury. Thank you very much for the huge level reached, for improving the architectural quality of Malaga, for your trust and the undoubted joy that comes with this award. In spite of it, this success also means a big responsibility: now we have to work even harder in order to improve ourselves and confirm those skills the Jury has seen on us.
In that sense, today we have to thank everyone who helped us to make this possible and place our company on such a promising position as we are right now in Malaga. Thanks to the whole team, to our clients, and to every company that collaborated in our projects to find the best solution.
After this, we can do nothing but to keep working for a good architecture, and congratulate the organisers of these Malaga Architecture Awards for the great job they are doing on promoting our profession every year.
